Resumo: | The objective of that work was to verify the impact of the "Seven habits of highly effective people" by Stephen Covey on the competitiveness of the companies. For this purpose, a sample from companies of a same gas station system was selected, in Ponta Grossa area, that was classified from the “most” competitive to the "less" competitive according to the owner's classification. In a second moment, a questionnaire was applied to the managers and supervisors of the companies in order to analyze the existence of the "seven habits" in their profile. Considering the classification of the competitiveness of the gas companies presented by the owner with the results obtained in the research of the existence of the seven habits in the respondents, it was verified that those companies which have the best average of existence of the habits are the same ones that present the largest competitiveness. |
