Resumo: |
With the objective to evaluate the use of two hormonals protocols in the induction of estrous and posterior fertility in mangalarga marchador mares, 41 submitted females had been evaluated the application of prostaglandin F2 and GnRH in the times of 72h (Group I) and 96h (Group II) after the application. In the group of 72h, the animals had been submitted the artificial insemination (Group IA) or natural breending (Grupo IB). The following results had been observed: in the group IA estrous occurred in 13/14 (92.85%) of the animals and the prenhez in 10/14 (71.40%); in group IB, 15/16 (93.75%) for the appearance of estrous and 12/16 (75%) of prenhez occurrence respectively, e in group II the observed values had been 11/11 (100%) and 5/11 (45.45%). The analysis statistics through the test of the quiquadrado one did not disclose significant difference between the groups. However, the protocol of 72h revealed satisfactory in relation to the increment of the practical fertility and in what it says respect to the equine reproductive handling. |
