Resumo: | The appositions are used for retaking an idea presented in the A unit, in order to make it clearer to the interlocutor and so to facilitate the understanding of this idea. The apposition, unit B, arises on the basis of a discursive interaction necessity. Without the discursive interaction the comprehension of the A unit would remain incomplete, hazy and, sometimes, even obscure. This would limit the interlocutor to understand it. This investigation aims to describe and to analyze the occurrences of appositive clauses without connector in different genresof journalistic sphere of written data of Brazilian Portuguese language. To obtain a characterization of the types of appositive clauses, the following specific objectives were set: a) to discuss the criterion of identification of an appositive structure; b) to analyze the semantic aspects related to the A unit , B Unit, and both units among themselves; c) to investigate the influence of the A unit in the emergence of B unit. The A unit is represented by a kind of reference basis, that s to say, elements represented by entities of 2nd, 3rd and 4th orders, and the B units are represented by more than one clause. It was realized that the main semantic links between these two units is the type General/specific relation. The written data was collected in publications of O Globo newspaper and magazines of the same newspaper, in the period from December 2009 to July 2010. Our investigation is established on a qualitative analyze which is following by a quantitative one. We selected part of GOLDVARB 2001 program. |
