Resumo: The increase in ethanol production led to generation of large volumes of stillage. Since 1980, uses stillage fertigation in sugarcane obtaining positive results in increasing productivity. However, excessive application can cause the imbalance of cations in the soil and thus interfere with the absorption of calcium, magnesium, potassium and nitrogen can affect industrial development and quality of cane sugar. In this context, the objective was to evaluate the development and dynamics of Ca2+, Mg2+, K+, P and the relationship between Ca: K, Mg, K and N: K in soil and plant as well as its implications in the development, production and quality cane sugar for the industrial process. For this field experiment was conducted with six doses of vinasse applied to the soil. A week after residue application, been planted cultivar RB92579 (middle and late maturation). The experiment was conducted with six treatments arranged in four randomized blocks, totaling 24 experimental units. The vinasse doses of 0, 40, 80, 160, 320 and 640 m3 ha-1. The vinasse doses applied caused an increase of the dry mass of stem, leaves and pointer in leaf area, leaf area index, the accumulation of extraction of K from leaves, stems and hand due to high availability of K+ in the soil. For extraction of N, P, Ca and Mg also showed an increase in the quantity extracted with the levels of waste. The values of the relationships between nutrients in the plant were considered sufficient for high productivity in cane sugar.
