In this work we have as general objective to investigate the use of manipulative material in the learning of the exponential function. As theoretical orientation we have the Professor Josinalva Estacio Menezes’ researches, The Professor John Andrew Fossa’s works and still of the theoretic contributions of Brousseau and Lima, that had served as support for taste methodological proposals for possible over comings about related resource in the classroom, as well as had pointed literatures that they will be able to propitiate new inquiries for insertion of these resources, in particular a type of rubberized material denominated EVA and the tower of Hanói, as tool in the classroom in Mathematics Teaching. As methodology, we adopt a qualitative boarding, contending analysis of quantitative data, For the research, we took as universe the Colégio Liceu de Artes e Ofícios and as citizens rqui vosde progr amas Mi c class at high school. Awe observed that the pupils reacted positively to new didactic resources, as the game Tower of Hanoi, that we utilized in this research. We verify an improvement at the pupils in the performance, after to the activities. We conclude through the interventions that the work with a sequence of activities articulated with manipulative material favors the learning of mathematical concepts. |
