Resumo: |
Since the trendhunter Li Edelkoort launched the ANTI_FASHION Manifesto announcing the end of fashion as we know it, the fashion world has turned its attention to the transformations of consumption and clothing production. According to this manifesto, consumers are increasingly participating in the creation of their own items and technology rapidly approaches the production of clothing. Thus, we turn our attention to future professionals in the area in the state of Pernambuco and we wonder if schools would be preparing fashion designers for the impending changes in the consumption and production of clothing. The theoretical foundation consists of training the teaching of fashion in Brazil and in Pernambuco, and the relevance of Fashion Design. Next, we discuss the "death" of the fashion announced by Edelkoort and present some of the transformations in the behavior of the consumption of clothing and its production that are cited in the author's manifesto. With the aim of analyzing the formation of fashion designers in the face of the impending change in the behavior of fashion consumption and the transformations in contemporary clothing production, we opted for content analysis in the analysis of results collected from semistructured interviews conducted with 14 people, among students and professors of the courses of Fashion Design in the Metropolitan Regions of the city of Recife and Agreste of the State of Pernambuco. |
