Resumo: The work in question investigates the relationship between women and their blogs, articulating the concept of “new domesticity” and the production of an online writing published through the digital tool. It is considered that this practice can provide women with a return home, in the home office format and, together with it, the creation of a special type of imagined virtual communities through the blog. The research investigates whether women return “home” by choice, being able to balance domestic life with professional life. To understand the creation of this imagined community, we analyzed the content, personalization and interactivity of eight blogs written by women in areas such as organization, gastronomy, conscious consumption, travel, architecture and decoration. The interviews and data collected in the analysis show that language is a Strong connecting elemento, as well as shared interests. Bloggers also use other social networks, such as Instagram and Facebook to strengthen the dissemination of their work and the sense of community.
