Resumo: | The aim of this work is to formalize the real numbers set existence as a complete ordered field. We will construct R using the Dedekind cuts and show the main properties of this set. Besides, we will point out the basic ideas of the Cantor's construction by Cauchy Sequences and another equivalent ways. The last part, consists of an example of how teachers can apply this concept in middle education classes |
