Resumo: | There were innumerable challenges that Brazilian women faced in their quest for the occupation of public space throughout the twentieth century. From "home queens," many of them, would become salaried workers. A feminine work force that from those years gradually gained space in journalistic writing. The increase of women journalists in the market happened in addition, as a consequence of the possibility of graduating in Higher Education. Faced with this historical phenomenon, the research aims to study how the institutionalization of the Journalism course in Brazil collaborated in the training of women to act in the market as journalists and also as teachers. To understand this process, we interviewed three journalists who have a long experience in teaching: Alice Mitika Koshiyama, Dulcilia Helena Schroeder Buitoni and Marialva Carlos Barbosa. In short, we seek to know their life histories and, at the same time, to intertwine them with the history of this field of knowledge in the country. |
