Resumo: | This study has the purpose of mapping social networks of mourning families to identify resources and gaps that could interfere in the mourning experience. Eight families with a total of nine mourners belonging to a municipality primary care unit in the state of Minas Gerais participated in the study. They gave semi-structured interviews using a previously elaborated script and the construction of a minimum social network map proposed by Sluzki. The stories were recorded, transcribed, textualized and worked through content analysis. The results indicated: (a) the family, as well as spirituality, are factors considered fundamental by the mourners to deal with a family lost; (b) the health team is poorly defined as a supporter of grief; (c) the mourners have a desire to talk about the lost of the relative; (d) the home visit supports a better mourning frontation. Thus, the resources used by the bereaved were family and spirituality, and the lack of support from Primary Care was a shortcoming. |
