The present dissertation aims to analyze the relation between gender and science. The focus of this study is to investigate whether it is constituting thought styles in relation with the gender and science field in the Brazilian academic context, considering three dossiers focusing on this subject area, which were published in the journal Cadernos Pagu, from the Gender Study Nucleous Pagu (UNICAMP), namely Gênero, tecnologia e ciência, 1998; Gênero na história das ciências, 2000; e Gênero na ciência, 2006. As the theoretical and methodological approach it was used thought styles concepts and the thought communities proposed by Ludwik Fleck. Considering the flow of ideas among the dossiers and their exoteric collective, the research shows how it would be possible to say that in the journal there is a tendency to set a thought style that emphasizes the historiographical discussion and the empowerment of women in the scientific practice .
