Resumo: This study aims to put in question the issue of power and ethics related to journalism and the production of subjectivity. The idea is to use a Foucault experience possible in a field always much debated and present the “psi” analysis, but little studied inside, in their own theoretical and market logic, the power mesh that passes through and is crossed. Search by first rescue as theorists of journalism tried to explain it or frame it as a power for itself, incarnate, historically, only to find a another look possible experience on journalistic practices by thinking of Michel Foucault. The goal is not better explain journalism, but risk a possible mislead both for journalism studies and to keep alive the thought of Foucault. The work also bet later in the writings of Claudio Abramo, which in Brazil was one of the leading journalists and thinkers of such practices. The idea is to show in which time the very journalism dared leave the own standards, taking a risk to their own relations in a sort of blind empiricism in their own activity. Finally, it compares it can mislead journalism in the 80s of the twentieth century, political reopening of Brazil, with the crooked paths of today's practices.
