Resumo: The present work seeks to discuss categories listed in my career as researcher, psychologist and psychoanalyst intertwined with relevant facts in the life trajectory that are articulated in audiovisual productions and their consequences for the social and textual body. To do this, we will revisit the ruptures in the audiovisual projects carried out and the disagreements in the relationship with the field, with people and with research. We seek to align these endeavors, in a line that runs through the unconscious, theoretical, social, political and artistic encounters. For this, there is a need to rely on epistemologies that discuss differences. Aware of the possible personal and theoretical traps involved in this process, an important intersection is made between psychoanalysis and anthropology, in this relationship between the notions of self and other, of individual and collective. The presence in the visual and anthropological field sometimes confirms the greatest interests; living matter, the organic archive of time; the person tied to the traces of their existence, their relationship with the world and with the power to exist. After discussions about the categories that surround this work, we will present and discuss the documentary series: Skin, Word and Voice: Women Aged 50 and over, as a result of the construction of a visual ethnography
