The benefits of physical activity for the health of children and adolescents show that the contribution of an active lifestyle can have positive effects in the short term and contributes to such behavior is consolidated and is maintained throughout life . The Physical Education is uniquely positioned to develop actions aimed at adopting and maintaining active lifestyles . The school appears as the appropriate space actions to promote physical activity and health for the development of actions aimed at adopting and maintaining active lifestyles , highlighting the contribution of physical education classes . Objective : To analyze the implementation of the project " Education + Physics : Practicing School Health " by the Physical Education in school integrated federal system . Methodology : This is an experimental study applied to the Federal Institute of Education , Science and Technology of Rio Grande do Sul ( IFSul ) . Will be involved all Physical Education teachers and students from 1st to 3rd year high school four campuses of the Institute , two allocated to the intervention group and two as Control group . The proposed action is based on the idea of assisting the physical education teachers of high school to discuss , from theoretical and practical strategies , the theme physical activity and health in their classes . The intervention project is based on four main strategies: training workshop with teachers , teaching materials , educational posters , workshop exchange of teaching experiences . The level of physical activity ( ≥ 300min/sem ) and the level of knowledge (from the note in evidence ) will be assessed at the beginning and end of the school year . |
