Resumo: This research has as its purpose to work with contents from Scenic Arts with play songs with two First Year classes in Public Schools in João Pessoa county, which main objective was to organize a curricular proposal for the teaching of Scenic Arts of these classes. With a theoretical referential based on: teacher teaching methodologies such as Viola Spolin; about play songs from the Idelette Fonseca dos Santos and Maria de Fátima de Mesquita Batista’s book; documents such as the National Art Curriculum Parameters, and National Common Curriculum Base, and the Curriculum Proposals of the João Pessoa County and the state of Paraíba; and with the books from the Ligamundo collection for the First Year grade. To achieve the result, it was utilized a participant research, with an applied nature, because we worker with the methods and curriculum used in teaching Scenic Arts. The scientific support was inductive, for it was applied and analyzed with a practical experiment. The study objective was a descriptive research, because we verified data from the context of teaching Scenic Arts, with theater in particular, and with that it was possible to organize a curricular proposal for the two First Year classes chosen for the application. We used a qualitative approach, for it was made a report and all process was analyzed. In the data collection, it was brought up bibliographies and documents, experience reports and collective evaluations from the students. We developed classes/workshops plans to be applied in two classes of the First Year of Elementary School in two Schools of the João Pessoa County, and all students of these classes participated, with an age range from six to nine years old. The research result was the elaboration of a curriculum proposal with contents for four bimesters, with class plans suggestions equivalents for the school year of this grade. It was perceived also that the class plans, and its contents were effective to be applied to classes for students of this age range due to perception, comprehension and their abilities in classes/workshops. Therefore we can conclude that the application of the schools/workshops were affective in developing the knowledge about Scenic Arts, for its results were always satisfactory in all encounters.
