Resumo: In view of the growing market for supplements aimed at food well-being, and the change in food in line with the practice of physical activity, the present study aimed to characterize the eating behavior and the subjective well-being of individuals who consume supplements. and practice physical activity. The study had 256 participants from all regions of Brazil. Google Forms online questionnaire was applied with three scales already validated. A quantitative analysis was carried out, using the survey method. The results indicate the consumption ratio of food supplements between genders, with a predominance of women, vitamins / minerals are the most consumed supplements and are indicated by nutritionists as a reason to maintain health. The female gender has a tendency towards restrictive and emotional behavior, such as greater demand for protein supplements and amino acids. They also point out that the eating behavior associated with the participants' subjective food well-being was physical well-being with a tendency to emotional behavior, advancing the theory of subjective well-being by including the consumption of supplements. It is concluded that single consumers, with higher income and education, have a greater sense of well-being through these foods and the consumption of supplements. Married consumers, even with higher income and education, have a reduced level of well-being. The practical relevance of this work is verified, as they present results that indicate a way to reduce the consumption of dietary supplements, contributing to the sequence of studies on dietary supplements and physical activity. And they also translate that public policies must start from a premise of awareness and re-education.
