Philosophy and poetry are sciences that have always been close to the human thought. In this work, I int end to out line how there lation between philosophy and poetry occurs, especially in Martin Heidegger’s (1889-1979) philosophy. The German philosophers earches for a more eficiente way to develop a problematic in the sense of the being. For Heidegger, it is clear that the matter of the being could no longer be thought as concepts that would only cover logical statements, the refore, Heiddeger decides to suppress this manner of thinking, that is when heen counters with the poetry, for the purpose of traveling through themaze-like and extraordinary region soft he being. This new approach comes from how the process of fusion between though tand Philosophy take splace, then, Heidegger searches in thein side of the poetry of the poetic persona and the german novelist, Friedrich Hölderlin (1770-1843), the understanding for the concept of Dasein. Heiddeger was passionate for the Works of Hölderlin, but it was only in the course of time that he started the studies about them, the crucial point of theen counter with the author’s poetry is the truth of the being, this is a thought that aims to find the possible field to place the theme of the being in the horizon of the history of metaphysics and its essetial fact, the forget fullness of being.
