Resumo: |
This work studies the concept of childhood present in the Historical-Cultural Theory in the poetics of Manoel de Barros. For that, we used as research corpus the works Exercises of being a child (1999), Memories invented for children (2020), Poeminhas Pescados in a speech by João (2001a) and O Fazedor de dawn (2001b). In this way, the work seeks to tune the concept of childhood advocated by the Historical-Cultural Theory in the poetry of Manoel de Barros. The thesis is based on the theoretical-methodological framework of Vygotsky (1935), Áries (1973), Mello (2017) and Marino Filho (2022). The results indicate that the lyrical self of Barros' poems poetizes a childhood as a condition for human development, which reveals the child's belonging in the environment in which he lives, plays, runs and lives with freedom of expression through ludic devices and the nature itself. A childhood that demonstrates curiosity, imagination, creativity, the freedom to perform prodigies, always supported by the mother, father, sister or brother and grandfather, which is in line with the theory in question. This thesis also deals with the construction of language in the poetry of Manoel de Barros as a vehicle for human development, as proposed by the Historical-Cultural Theory, for which language is a fundamental tool for human cognitive development. Thought and language are the key to understanding the nature of human consciousness. Keywords: Infancy; Manoel de Barros; Poetry; Experience; Humanization. |
