Resumo: The Nando case was approached in this doctoral thesis as an event, through which the mechanisms and technologies of subjectivation, administration and government of lives and populations can be seen in operation. As a general objective, we sought to investigate how the image of the Monster was linked to that of the delinquent, the abnormal and, later, to the Psychopath, showing the points of articulation between them, from the examination and Teratopolitics. For this, the process of constitution of this biopolitical facet was elucidated, from the formation of the notions of monstrosities and the knowledge linked to them. The methodological tools used were Foucault's archaeology and historical ontology, both for the selection and articulation of bibliographic material, as well as for the historical tracking and design of the exam technology present in the speeches given in local newspapers about the case. As a result, it was concluded that the examination served as a support point for the elucidation of legal-psychological technologies that work as subjective mechanisms, aimed at the expert and, also, the population in general. From this, it can be stated that the labels present in the jus-psi coupling function as tactics and techniques for the production of subjectivities to justify certain actions of the State in the sphere of public security. In addition, there is the tacit acceptance of some professionals for psychological and psychiatric examination instruments that limit the subject to the label assigned to him. Finally, it is pointed out that the representation of teratological images is still functioning in the control society.
