Resumo: | The main objective of present thesis was to investigate the relations among the following variables: Degree of Innovation of Training, Development and Educational Practices, Degree of Organizational Modernity and Degree of Workplace and Job Satisfaction. The work alsoaimed at diagnosing the situation of those variables interviewing 595 professionals of several organizations that were regularly enrolled in masters degree courses in administration, offered by institutions of higher Educational of Belo Horizonte (MG). Considering suchobjectives, we opted to accomplish a quantitative research, and the data collection was performed through a questionnaire. The collected data was, then, submitted to a statistical treatment that involved descriptive statistical techniques and multivariate analysis. The theoretical referential of the work contemplated the analysis of modernity patterns, anapproach proposed by Eboli (1996) and adapted by Sant'anna (2002), the Basic Task Dimensions Model of Hackman and Oldham (1975), and studies about training, development and Educational - based on studies of Abbad (1999) and Borges-Andrade (1982) - besides the revision of several national and foreign researches from 1998 to 2003. The obtained results reflect the validation of the scales proposed to measure the variables investigated by the present research, and the evaluation of the hypotheses that orientated the work, allowing to us to verify the existence of a positive relationship, although of low intensity, among thevariables Degree of Organizational Modernity and Degree of Workplace and Job Satisfaction. The results also enabled us to verify the existence of a positive and low intensity relationship among the Degree of Innovation of Training, Development and Educational Practices and theDegree of Workplace and Job Satisfaction. It was verified, still, the existence of a high intensity "one-to-one correspondence" relation among the Degrees of Innovation of Training, Development and Educational Practices and Organizational Modernity The hypothetical model presented a good adjustment. In what refers to the organizational characteristics, heterogeneity of levels was observed towards the application of innovative training, development and educational practices. The same happened with relationship to the modernity. Generally, the Workplace and Job Satisfaction was considered moderate. Finally, the article concludes that organizations look for to incorporate World transformations and concomitantly start to demand more and more of the workers. |
