Resumo: The research considered here presents a pedagogical proposal for the Professional Training Course in Guitar at the State Music Conservatories in Minas Gerais, and has been applied at the Haidée França Americano State Music Conservatory in the city of Juiz de Fora, Minas Gerais. With this proposal, aligned with the teaching plan of this conservatory for the training of guitar technicians, and taking into account the growing job offer for students who graduate from technical courses at this institution, the researcher seeks to present students and teachers of the Professional Training in Guitar at the Minas Gerais State Conservatories a study plan based on five pillars that will guide the entire course, from entry to the student's graduation recital. The pillars addressed in the proposal are: repertoire, technique, sound, creativity and practical application on the instrument. The central axis of the proposal is the repertoire, as it is this that provides the fertile field for the development of the other pillars of the proposal for the training of guitar technicians. The researcher aims to share the functioning of the guitar technical course at the aforementioned Conservatory and the experiences already experienced over the years of his work, where the methodology based on the five pillars has been developed and improved through daily teaching practice in the classroom classes, combined with constant research referenced on great music masters both in the area of the guitar and other musical instruments.
