Incitando o cinema que incita : o filme como gerador sensível de encontros de saberes com adolescentes sob medidas socioeducativas

Resumo: | This study aims to comprehend how the wisdom of adolescents in the state’s juvenile correction services can contribute to academic thought on cinema and on image-based pedagogical work. To that end, it set out to verify the capacity of films to evoke co-creations of wisdom, to determine whether a given set of pictures is a sensitive generator. The study relies on the construction of wisdom of experience as a concept, a piece of wisdom impressed into the body of each youngster, whose elaborations are a result of the singularity of their journeys, of their relationships with a territory and in the intertwining of the languages of racism and crime. It initially summons contributions from the philosophy of difference and decolonial thought, as well as contributions from studies developed in the interfaces cinema-education and education-cinema, in an endeavor to ally the investigation to a decentralizing, progressive, anti-colonial and induction-based attitude. There is also an effort to reflect on the modeling and remodeling of the film corpus, as well as on the expectations placed on films and on adolescents even before they meet, a thought that aimed at interfiling ideas of adolescents in juvenile correction services with thoughts of the researcher starting from a descriptive and imaginative key not previously established. Inspired by an ethnographic and dialogic gesture, I accomplished the first stage of the field work in a Cultural Center of Belo Horizonte with adolescents in community service and on probation. In the second stage of the field work, I met with adolescents in juvenile correction services: the production of four meetings resulted more in a gathering of the contributions and in an instructive action than in co-creation itself. As a finalization. I devised a reconstruction of the filmic offer, conceived based on the journey thus far, so that a latent product was proposed, to be put into practice by interested parties. |
