Resumo: | This academic study investigates the discursive possibilities raised about the cultural patrimony from the points of view of different interlocutors involved in the same process. The dynamic of the case is our empirical reference through Largo do Ós Revitalization in the city of Sabará. In the first part of this study we established specificities of the main ideas related to cultural patrimony and social communication which are the basis of all research. The study shows that from daily experience, individuals and groups establish values and adapt their narratives, incessantly articulating the interaction between all the elements. Next we define the actors who are involved in the process and systematized through groups that represent the interlocutors. The question of discursive construction and symbolic representations instilled in them also features among the other main concepts. Before analyzing the effects of different perspectives, we will outline the context above, characterizing the frame with relevant particularities of our research object. Finally, considerations are intertwined and reconnected through the initial questioning of the implications raised by the study case. In conclusion, the analysis shows the importance of the social communication in the field of architecture and patrimony, and that these disciplines go well beyond the so-called applied sciences. The recognition of daily experience and the case as efficient tools that assist in method and problem solving techniques also became evident. Discursive arrangements showed values that are triggered in order to justify the marks of experiences that ultimately seized be shared in society. The research validated the proposition that all areas can contribute to the sustainable development of the built environment, whether ancient, contemporary or future planning, because they are always in dialogue with society and interfering somehow in it. |
