Resumo: |
This study aimed to investigate the organizational routines of student support at Universidade Estadual do Centro-Oeste, Unicentro, from the perspective of ostensive, performative and artifacts aspects. The scope of this work is the analysis of the routine that was in the process of being structured, both in regulatory terms and in terms of personnel, in the period from 2020 to 2022. The theme in question points to the scientific deepening of organizational routines within an Institution of Public Higher Education, being essential to analyze whether routine activities are being effective and how they are applied, in a time frame. Therefore, this study uses the foundations of Pentland and Feldman, to analyze the organizational routine of the actors involved with the assistance of students at Unicentro, also considering the ostensive, performative aspect and the artifacts that integrate the execution of their activities. For this reason, a qualitative approach was used, with a descriptive character and in a complementary way, documentary and field research was used, according to the norms that regulate Student Assistance, in the academic system. The results point to the characterization of the organizational routine as an activity composed of interdependent actions, with a minimum standard, in recurrent situations. The theoretical contribution of this work is given, through the evidence that the ostensive and performative aspects can be characterized through the descriptions of the tasks synthesized in the presented flowcharts, under the aegis of the artifacts recognized as legal instruments, manuals and technological tools. With regard to the management of the Student Support Coordination, some situations were identified, such as the lack of its own software to control attendance, the need to expand the staff of professionals and the establishment of a strategic plan, in order to standardize the usual activities. Thus, the present study proposed to contribute in a practical way, through the elaboration of a guide of routines, favoring the dynamics of attendance to students, and helping in the tasks of new university agents. Furthermore, we sought to manifest the evidence of the case, in order to generate reflections that serve as subsidy to strategists, intermediate-level managers and employees who work in the organizational routine of Higher Education Institutions, mainly those involved with Student Assistance. However, it is presumed that this work is subject to some limitations. The advent of the pandemic hampered the monitoring of the performative aspect and the complexity and subjectivity involved in the research, associated with the fact that it is not possible to make generalizations about studies on organizational routines, make this work a unique cut. |
