Resumo: |
Manoel de Barros is known as the poet of insignificant things, unimportant objects and despised beings, famous for his illimitability. His poetry is rich in meaning and open to interpretive exploration. It is surrounded by a false certainty of simplicity and easy vocabulary. The Invented Memories do not deal with the autobiography of the author, but it is the voice of the lyrical self that remembers moments of childhood, moving away the figure of the poet and making use of the boy invented in the poems. Thus, the work is made of a poetic construction that refers to events that trigger non-existent memories. Tessitura, the production of the Manoeline poetry, is circled by dreamlike situations and daydreams, which sharpen the imagination and the formation of mental images, in addition to new meanings of words, explored by the author in a surprising way while creating the abstraction. The female figure is the object of studies of this text, and of the analysis that will be presented. In this way, the image of the woman, and the look of the lyrical self at the presences, besides the imaginary memory will be the main line of analysis. All the women that Manoel presented in the Invented Memories will be revisited by looking at the symbol, the striking presence and the influence in the self - lyrical-adolescent boy, which takes the voice for itself in the poems. The present dissertation is inserted in the line of Research Text, Memory, Culture and navigates in the perspective of the construction of the memory, identity and representation, and proposes a more accurate reading of these aspects. The main theoretical lines include the places of memory, with Pierre Nora (1993), Maurice Halbwachs (1990), Henri Bergson (1999, 2006) and Cultural Studies, Representation of the Construction and Identity, with Stuart Hall (2006, 2011).), Silviano Santiago (1976, 1978). Women are a constant in the verses, since the author's first book, and these presences show the lyrical self's look on women, their social role and construction before family and community. The interpretative and symbolic construction is analyzed from the references from Jean Chevalier and Alain Gheerbrant, and also by the bias of the reverie, with the references from Gaston Bachelard. The vision of the feminine constructed by the Pantaneiro poet, and described by the self - poetic surprise and enrich the poetry, and the studies on the work and the critical fortune of Manoel de Barros. |
