In the professions intended to care exercise, the worker’s subjectivity can be specially driven to other’s demand, as it happens in the urgency and emergency hospital context. This Dissertation aims to comprehend the nurse’s experience in this labor scenario, wich is marked by complex tensioning between the work conditions offered to the professional and what is demanded to the subject to an appropriate realization of the urgency and emergency care to the other. For this purpose, this study is formed by two Sections. The Theoretical Section includes the discussion about the care experience done in this context characterized by the precarious work conditions and marked by particular requirements of the ready reception of the population’s urgency and emergency necessities. Psychoanalysis offers the theoretical foundations to problematize the care to the caregiver, as it articulates the indispensable subjective and psychic conditions present in the work scenario and inherent aspects to the care exercise, which extrapolate the technic skills. To correspond the population´s assistance demands, the constantly request of readiness in work and a strict performance of their technical expertise concern to the nurses. Among the obstacles which characterize this work context, the precarious work condition and the difficulties of its structural complexity are highlighted. To offer care in this circumstances, the work experience extrapolates the exclusive technical preparation and restrict to the focus of prescriptions compliance. Within this perspective, it is crucial that the professional take care of himself and accept being cared to handle his attributions and can offer to another one a genuine care, free of excess and impositions. In the Empirical Section, many ways of work rhythms that make the care experience and the routine of nurses who work in urgency and emergency sectors of a hospital in Rio Grande do Sul are noted. By the Interpretative Analysis Method, the narratives of eight participants who had been interviewed are analyzed. From the obtained data in the interviews, it is highlighted the relevance of the institutional implication to work appreciation and to the recognition of the pertinence of taking care of the caregiver. The accomplishment of this study, having the contribution of the foundations of psychoanalytical theory concerning the facts that embrace the care practice, has provided further comprehension to aspects involved in care experience work directed to other’s urgency and emergency. Taking in consideration that the workers subjectivity is requested to solve the work impasses, when the prescribed action is not enough, the resources of the own subject appears and allow the care realization from creative and sensible solutions to other’s demand. For this purpose, it is essential that the professional suffer can be legitimated, as well as his work appreciated and noted. Therefore, it is indispensable an offer of reflexion spaces in work context in order to host the worker singularity, taking place, from this process, the effective implementation of implicit conditions to mutual care. |
