Written by Silvio de Abreu, the telenovela Passione, even before its debut, brought in highlight a new platform for distribution of content in virtual environment. The Passione website brought many innovations for anyone wishing to follow the soap opera in the Internet, so that this production came to be called, by some television critics, "the first interactive soap opera in Brazil" and its innovations became part of all the sites of novelas of the TV Globo since. This dissertation sought to understand what meant this new virtual platform in the Passione production strategy, and how this innovations made by it may be related to the popularization of Internet in Brazil and the changes that it has been operating in the Brazilian way of seek entertainment. To this, this study sought to understand the site Passione as an element inserted within the field of production of telenovelas of TV Globo and understand this field as a part within the field of entertainment production, understanding, too, the interrelationship of the agents that dominate each one of these spaces and their movements in the face of technological change in its business model and infrastructure and superstructure changes promoted by it |
