This master’s degree thesis arouse from concerns I have lived in my clínical life and led me to take deep thoughts about the projective identification phenomenon, considering the importance of possible usage from the countertransference of the analyst, imperative in the process of symbolic constitution of the patient. The theoretical reference which substantiated this study was psychoanalytical, based on Melaine Klein’s and Wilfred Bion’s contributions as contemporaneous authors as Thomas H. Ogden and Antônio Ferro. A clínical vignette was presented in order to articulate the analysis of the theoretical concepts of this research
