Resumo: |
The objective of this master's dissertation is to reflect on the impact of the works of illustrators Henn Kim and Layse Almada, which are mainly published on Instagram. This project is born out of a personal issue activated, precisely by the way in which the production of these artists affects the lives of their followers. Topics such as sexuality, violence against women, love in the digital age and loneliness are some of the topics covered. As a theoretical foundation, the research starts from the notion of corpomedia (KATZ and GREINER, 2005) and creates interlocutions with the debates conducted by the French Virginie Despentes, especially in Theory Theory King Kong (2006); by researchers Judith Butler and Zeynep Gambetti (2016) around the notion of vulnerability as a power of action; and by Roman Krznaric (2015) and Gabriela Lima (2012), who have thought about the importance of empathy in communication. The expected result is to collaborate with the discussions that are underway around female bodies that are not subservient to social standards; and reflect on how states of vulnerability can generate processes of creation and resistance, such as the photo essay presented at the end |
