A família, a escola e a legislação: como entender a oferta e a recusa do ensino religioso nas salas de aula em escolas da Zona Leste de São Paulo

Resumo: This research proposes to analyze the conditions of the offer by the managers of the discipline of Religious Education in the public schools of São Paulo, in the eastern region of São Paulo contemplated in the curriculum of the final years of Elementary School. In this scenario, we seek to give voice to teachers, students and their parents or guardians in order to understand the refusal resulting in non-formation of classes in schools in this capital. Our hypothesis pervades the issue of lack of clarification by managers leading to negligence. To support these facts, we carried out a bibliographical review and proposed an exploratory quantitative field survey, the result of which confirmed our suspicions. This study has as a background the current family conception and its interfaces with the State, as a regulator of our conduct, rights and duties and the partnership with the school, a secondary institution that practices knowledge education, social insertion and preparation for the labor market. As a cultural characteristic of our people, religiosity is a present and living element in our society, presupposing the important pedagogical foundation that comes from the school banks that fits with the social function of the school that comes from its objectivity, to provide the premise of the formation of a human being perfect, complete and happy
