Resumo: This study presents an analysis of entrepreneurship education in the course of Bachelor in Business Administration. The survey was conducted in three private institutions of higher education located in the state of São Paulo, with a questionnaire for students from first and last periods of this course, with quantitative survey data. Further information was provided by course coordinators, through qualitative research. Regarding the bibliographic research, studies on the development of entrepreneurship, the various concepts presented by scholars of the subject, the history of Brazilian university and the paths taken by entrepreneurship education were mentioned. The theoretical framework was finalized with a discussion of the organizational culture, which included the differences between traditional and entrepreneurial organizational cultures. The study was developed emphasizing the importance of encouraging the creation of own ventures and the development of entrepreneurial attitudes and practice, such as vocational and career projection model in organizations. As for the results, this dissertation presented the variables that indicate a relationship between entrepreneurship education and entrepreneurial characteristics of the students course of Business Administration, as determining factors for entrepreneurial development.
