The aim of this paper is to point out the main differences in the reasonings and diagnostics from some brazilian economists. The very strong evidence is that they do not have unanimous answers to quite well defined questions. The Brazilian economist is usually a generalist. As a policy maker, or working in the private sector, or even in the academic career, they are forced to opine about different subjects. In this version we explored the ideas of Paul Singer, Francisco de Oliveira, Antonio Barros de Castro, Yoshiaki Nakano, João Sayad, José Serra, Fernando de Holanda Barbosa, Gustavo Franco, Francisco Lopes, Aloisio Mercadante, João Manuel Cardoso de Mello, José Alexandre Scheinkman. We have tried to identify their experiences, their methods and their opinions about inflation and economic development. We have also explored the divergence and the communication problems in economic discussion. We have emphasized the arguments' variance and eloquence, and the personal judgment.
