Resumo: ABSTRACT: This dissertation analyzes short stories of the contemporary Brazilian writer, Conceição Evaristo, in the light of the theoretical framework of greimasian semiotics with emphasis on discursive, narrative and passionate elements and on the relations between the enunciation and the utterance of the texts belonging to the Insubmissas Lágrimas de Mulheres (2016). As in all the author's work, the short stories, objects of this research, constitute as accounts of experiences of women victims of violence which are narrated as writings by a female narrator in the present of enunciation. The work brings together thirteen short stories entitled with the names of the protagonists. We selected three short stories that compose it to constitute the corpus of the research: “Aramides Florença", "Shirley Paixão", and "Lia Gabriel". Our objective is to apprehend the strategies used by the enunciator in the construction of the meaning of the texts, through the analysis of the path of the female actors that manifest themselves in them, at the level of the utterance and at the level of enunciation. In the first, we will analyze the actions of the protagonists and the controversial relationships they establish with their opponents, as well as the states of soul that affect them in the face of the physical, verbal and psychological violence they suffer. In the second, the analysis will focus on the role of the female narrator who reports the writings of women victims of violence and the effects of meaning created through these narratives.
