Uma comparação entre métodos Hesitant Fuzzy TOPSIS no apoio à tomada de decisão para seleção de fornecedores

Resumo: Supplier selection is central to the purchasing activities of organizations, being fundamental in the constitution of an effective supply chain. One of the ways to deal with this process is the use of multicriteria decision-making methods. Among these, the Hesitant Fuzzy TOPSIS (Technique for Order Preference by Similarity to Ideal Solution) stands out as an emerging method capable of supporting decisionmaking processes in situations of uncertainty and hesitation. In this context, this study performs a comparison between two versions of the Hesitant Fuzzy TOPSIS method considering the supplier selection problem. The two methods were selected from a mapping of the different versions of the Hesitant Fuzzy TOPSIS in the scientific literature. A systematic review of the literature of comparative studies between multicriteria decision methods guided the establishment of factors for the comparison between the built models from the selected methods. Both models were implemented and applied in an illustrative case of supplier selection. The methods were compared regarding the ranking of the alternatives; consistency of results; similarities and differences; adequacy in support of group decision making; and ability to model uncertainty and hesitancy. The results obtained evidenced the characteristics of the models, demonstrating their ability to deal with uncertainties and hesitancy in the context of a decision problem in supplier selection, and can help researchers and managers in choosing a suitable method for other multicriteria decision problems.
