Resumo: The aim of this paper is to value bone repair in defeats done in skull of rabbits using bone morphogenetic protein (BMP) stemed from bovine embryo and fibrínico adhesive. They were used 24 white rabbits (New Zealand), male and adults. They were done bone defeats in the animal skull using a trephine drill of 10.0mm and filled in materials and divided in groups. Group I (Control) was filled in blood clot of the own animal. In Group II, the bone defeat was filled in morphogenetic proteins by bovine origin (BMP-b) and in Group III it were used bone morphogenetic proteins by bovine origin (BMP-b) associated to fibrinic adhesive. The periods of sacrifice were 7, 14 and 60 days that were done described microscopic analysis with blushed blades in HE and trichromic of Masson. The results had showed the presence of amorphous material (BMP-bovine) in the period of 14 and 60 days of the Group II and in Group III (BMP + fibrinic adhesive) only in the period of 60 days had evidences of bone neoformation.
