Resumo: Were evaluted Five process of castor beans (CBA, CBB, CBD, CBE and CBF) in a methabolism with 210 broiler chickens through of the determination of nutritional value and energetic, development and weight of bird organs. CBA was obtained without processing and the other chaff had the oil extracted with ethanol, where the temperature of recupe4ration was of 80°C during 20 minutes (CBB) six minutes (CBD and CBE) or 110°C during 15 minutes (CBF). CBF and CBE even were neutralized with NaOH in 5% and, respectively, submitted for solar drying during two days or pelletization. Seven diets were used: REF- reference with corn and soya beans; FSO- REF including 20% of soya beans; CBA, CBB, CBD, CBE and CBF- REF including 20% of castor beans. To conclude the CBF was the best with 29,8% of protein, 9,1% of fat and even with 27,7% of fiber presents apparent metabolizedable energy (AME) of 2849 kcal/kg and corrected for retention of nitrogen (AMEn) 2739 kcal/kg. The weight of organs were proportional to the consumption and the gain of weight was proportional for the digestion of crude protein and the dry matter.
