Resumo: This work aims to understand the possibility of visual language in the construction of identity in distance education, where it is necessary to read and interpret visual images for the interpretation of classes. Mental image analysis is possible though the elements of visual languagem as an aesthetic standard in the transmission of images through the phenomenon of the graphic interface. This research was delineated as na analysis of the visual effect for the proposal in distance education, contemplating the challenges included in the information presented in the proposed curriculum componentes resulting from the difficuties observed to read and interpret texts. In order to mediate reflective processes, where will anable the design of the virtual environment, designed from the visual language theme. Visual intelligence, which is the other face of Creation, where the subject is the recipiente of the message, requiring new needs based on the contemplative gaze of daily information and the power it exerts in our interpretativos. However, having propositional eexperiences during the formation of the individual, whethe with educators or artists is the apogee in the Reading and interpretation of visual texts, something fundamental, the ability to see beyond to perceive in contemporary times. To buil applicability in this modality, we dialog with authors such as: Donis A. Dondis, Vigotsky, Ostrower, Fava among others. Seeking the construction or deconstruction of visual texts, to experience how it is possible to create, not as transmitter and/ or receiver, but as process subjects in meaningful activities.
