The objective of this study is to analyze the working conditions in a chicken slaughter refrigerator in Pernambuco can impact the quality of life of employees. In competitive times organizations seek to increase their productivity, reduce their costs and compete in markets with higher profit margin. The identification of these results, in most cases, can affect the physical and mental conditions of employees working in these organizations. The research is qualitative with quantitative contribution. A questionnaire script using the Likert scale and frequency analysis was used, and evaluation capacity and intensity adopted in the WHOQOL-100, the World Health Organization The adopted research model is based on the criteria of Walton (1973) and of sub Fernandes (1996) and Detoni (2001). Data were analyzed using the weighted mean finding the value of the average ranking of the answers of the respondents for each criterion. The index of each criterion is represented by a radar chart. The results showed that the employees surveyed have sharp perception of quality of life, environmental conditions and work processes that affect their quality of life. However, it was perceived problems with the environment, working conditions and the need to invest in human capital. Note that the absence of such investment in HR impacts the quality of life of workers reduces productivity and product quality. The model adopted in this study enables stakeholders to review current practices and labor policies in cold chicken slaughter and opens a huge site research agenda, including other activities. |
