Resumo: The objective was to analyze the effect of storage time and the use of additives on the aerobic stability of mucilage silage of sisal defibration (MSSDsil). Three different silages were evaluated: sisal mucilage silage without additive (MSSDsil), corn sisal mucilage silage (MSSDsil+CORN) and sisal mucilage silage added with wheat bran (MSSDsil+WHEAT), at different times of storage (60, 90 and 120 days) with different exposure times to air (1, 3, 6 and 9 days). The following were analyzed: chemical-chemical composition, aerobic stability, in vitro digestibility of dry matter and organic matter. For the composition and aerobic stability, a completely randomized design was used, in a factorial scheme and for digestibility, a completely randomized design with subdivided plots was used. SilMUDS showed higher FDA (P<0.05) during storage (242.9g/kg). The added silages were more stable, producing smaller amounts of CO2 during exposure to air, with values of 36.3g/kg (MSSDsil+CORN), 29.5g/kg (MSSDsil+WHEAT) and 62.0g/kg (MSSDsil). MSSDsil+CORN showed the highest digestibility values of dry matter and organic matter (855.2g/kg and 819.8g/kg, respectively) in all storage times. It is concluded that 90 days of storage and 6 days of air exposure compromise the quality of the MUDS silages, especially those that are not additive. Thus, the use of moisture-sequestering additives is necessary to guarantee the quality of these silages.
