This research aims at analyzing the importance of the Elísio Caribé museum in the formation of the cultural identity of the people of Belém do São Francisco (PE), which justifies their inclusion in the school as an educational tool, allowing a greater understanding of the historical spectrum of the community . The research analyzes the execution of the project "Extramuros", authored by the author, applied in the museum Elísio Caribé in partnership between CESVASF and municipal public schools, but that participated in the project in all stages and in the execution. The research counts on the case report, and methodologically it is of a mixed nature, involving qualitative and quantitative aspects. The research concluded that the Elísio Caribé museum is a tool for the rescue and protection of local heritage, which justifies its insertion in the educational context for the creation of a cultural identity aimed at young people and adolescents, and its practical results are proven by the evolution of the averages in official indices. |
