Resumo: |
In a financing operation for motor vehicles, the customer who goes to a store or dealership to purchase his car, new or used, rarely has knowledge of all the procedures and costs involved and incidents throughout the entire business chain. Such procedures start in a proven stage and are only concluded in a public stage, with the state presence referencing the legal transaction. The costs range from state taxes to bank fees, each with its specific taxable event and the reason for its incidence. Thus, as these costs have different triggering events, there are also different rules on the subject, each one regulating, within its competence, the details that will be applicable in the operation. The present work intends to discuss the existing regulation about the procedures and costs for the financing of motor vehicles in the country, the hypotheses in which its transfer for payment by the consumer is possible and lawful, its impacts on credit, for the consumer and for society. |
