Resumo: |
In the adolescence period, we find well-noticeable transformation on behaviour. In this phase, the tribes work like a ritual of recognition, which makes it the most important aspect of this period and sets aside the re-meaning of the knowledge received from the formal education. This dissertation shows a study about adolescents behaviour who belong to urban tribes, pupils from school in Vacaria and its meaning about human cognition. In the contemporary urban contexts, we see urban tribes grow, semi-structured grouping of adolescents and young people with a common identification for lifestyle, culture and leisure. The research tries to figure the meaning of the knowledge out for young people taking their personal experiences into account, mainly the ones supported on school experience by the relation teacher-pupil. Inscribed on youth cultures of their time, those young people take part in groups of people where they assert their identities, a condition refers to a choice and lifestyle, much more than a biological condition. For the realization of the research, twelve mixed pupils between fourteen to eighteen years old who study in Primary School (ending grades), Secondary School and Teaching Course were interviewed in order to figure their way, school experience, view of society and future out. The individual interviews gave form to the investigation, having a basic question: what does knowledge mean? Added of secondary questions originated from answers obtained during the meetings. The study was supported on theoretical references shown by Vigotsky (1994), Piaget (1995), Wallon (2003) especially for the questions related to construction of knowledge and behaviour in the adolescence. Relating to urban tribes Michel Maffesoli (2006) was fundamental. Duarte Júnior (2006) contributed his writings to the importance of the sensitive knowledge in a world thought in an intelligible way. In this join of the quoted authors with the complementary ones, personal reflections and all the material collected, it was possible to notice the constructions made by adolescents supported on the phenomenological method which resulted in the following essence: the meaning of the knowledge for adolescents ; school: living with sensitive and intelligible knowledge and tribes: time to understand . When we come across some new situations (or expressions) that, at first, it is strange for us, not always we realize the importance of this to make and to want that reveals sense, which it is often, much bigger than what our eyes can see |
