The present study addresses the social public policies of education and social services by analyzing its impact on the students ' cultural capital of popular media. Part extracted from the assumptions in the contemporary educational scenario recurring speeches about the need to promote all Brazilians in school age equal and quality education. The main objective is to achieve a greater understanding about the repercussions of social public policies of education and social services, accessed by students of popular media, with potential to contribute to the expansion of your cultural capital and for minimization and social inequalities experienced by these individuals. As unfolding of this issue, objective: understand how settled the processes of reproduction and legitimation of inequalities in the school context throughout history; identify the main public policy education and social welfare, as well as, the main programs, projects, services, and benefits in the areas of education and social services in effect in the municipality of Soledad/RS; ponder about the reflections of social public policies accessed capital enlargement processes of students of popular media. To this end, this study adopts the qualitative approach, electing as instrumental data production through the analysis of documents, questionnaire and focus group. Before the parsed data, it was concluded that public policy education and social welfare has collaborated significantly to the expansion of students ' cultural capital of popular media, mainly to facilitate access cultural goods produced historically for mankind. |
