Manann oligosaccharide in feed can improve immunity, growth and health of farmed fish. Thus, the objective of this study was evaluate the influence of MOS levels (0.0 g Kg-1; 2.0 g kg-1; 4.0 g kg-1; 8.0 g kg-1; 10.0 g kg-1; 15.0 g kg-1) in the diet of Nile Tilapia in hematological and immunological parameters, production performance, digestibility of protein and resisting bacteria L. garvieae, after 45 days. 576 tilapias (127.3 ± 4.79 g and 18.7 ± 0.27 cm), distributed in 24 fiberglass tank (310 L) with aeration and constant renewal of water (6 treatments and 4 replications) it was fed with diets-extruded test. In time 0, 7, 15, 30 and 45 days after feeding, it was collected blood for hematological and immunological analyses. The consumption of diets was registered weekly and in the period 45 days the fish was weighed and measured to obtain performance parameters. After 45 days, the same diets, added marker and pelletized, were offered to fish and the faeces was collected to determine protein digestibility coefficient. Under the same conditions, with 168 Nile tilapia (125.3 ± 5.09 g and 0.33 ± 17.6 cm) and after 7, 15, 30 and 45 days it was made challenges by cohabitation with L. garvieae, evaluating the mortality rate during 15 days. The groups fed with prebiotic didn't show significant improvement as compared to the control group on variables, immunological, hematological and protein digestibility. The same occurred with the bacterial challenge. However, the inclusion of 2.0, 4.0 and 8.0 g Kg-1 of MOS in the diet improved the gain of weight of animals. As a conclusion, the inclusion of MOS not affected the hematology, immunity, protein digestibility and bacterial resistance. But, the inclusion of 2.0, 4.0 and 8.0 g Kg-1 of the prebiotic on diet improved weight gain of Nile tilapia |
