This research was performed in order to analyze the difficulties of student learning in mathematics content through a collection tool, storage and information processing provided by the database, for the student/teacher in their school career period. For this, a software will be developed to be applied to the third year students of high school at a state school in Araraquara city and in light of recent advances in cognitive theories, discuss and analyze the performance results presented. The procedures for this research will be from the study of an array of acceptable performance for mathematical knowledge, creating a software with the purpose of evaluate and build a database with questions and problems to enable this analysis. From its validation by pre-test there were made interviews with the participating teachers and questionnaires to students in order to revise and improve the assessment tool. The set of these procedures is called technically Assessment System and School Performance. This system should be made available to the school for an indefinite period and that will enable ongoing data collection to construct historical sets and permanent analysis of performance
