Resumo: The Espírito Santo Basin is characterized as passive margin. It is formed during the separation between the South American and African continents in the fragmentation of Gondwana. The study area is focated on the offshore portion totaling four fields, two notoriously gas producers (Cangoá and Peroá) and two oil producers (Cação e Golfinho). The geophysics is widely used to study the petroleum system of the oil fields. The interpretation of seismic reflection, potential methods (Gravimetric and aeromagnetic) and geophysical logging data was the geophysics methods were studied in this present. Most of the data was get from BDEP / ANP (Banco de Dados de Exploração e Produção de Petróleo/ Agência Nacional do Petróleo). Several lineaments were drawn on maps of potential data to understand whether or not these lineaments influence the petroleum system in the basin. The seismic sections were interpreted to make maps of the structural contour. Of all 16 wells requested optimum results presented in geophysical (ID, ILD, RHOB, NPHI, DT), ie there was strong evidence that good reservoirs would therefore have been characterized petrofisics, thus obtaining values porosity, volume of clay formation, water resistivity, and water saturation. These wells stratigraphic correlations tied to the seismic were performed. With the integrated study of all these methods was possible identify potential exploration targets
