Resumo: | This master's thesis intends to discuss and analyze the eroticity of Clarice Lispector's language and aesthetics through the short story A imitação da Rosa, present in the work Laços de Família, published in 1960. For that, the research is guided by the representations of women in history and the construction of a female ideology, based on class and race theoretical outline rescued from the short story. The analysis brings the summed movements in Lispector's narrative process and how her writing, full of symbols, values and density, develops the complexity of the character Luísa, in meaning effects that go far beyond the work and that correspond to the historical context from the authoress. With the aim of founding a favorable ground for the analysis of the erotic in fictional language, the study seeks to understand how the Judeo-Christian mythology and the economic policy based on gender roles affected (and still affect) the collective imagination about values and roles of woman in society. The present research was developed qualitatively, making use of a theoretical bibliographic approach based on female critics and deconstructivistm literary theories, based on the studies of Borges (1999), Bordieu (2002), Beauvoir (2009), Bonicci (2007), Barthes (1987), Bataille (1987), Colling (2014), Delumeau (1990), Dalarun (1993), Duby (2001), Erikson (1972), Felski (2003), Foucault (2002, 2003, 2009), Heller (2013), Hobsbawn (2013), Laraia (1997), Tedeschi (2008), Teixeira (2008), among others. Therefore, by combining the analysis, the study observed that the Erotic is revealed in the story through the interdiction of the text, that is, in terms of what is not said but constructed by the symbolic relationship with language. Also, the conquest of space by female literary productions, such as Lispector, was contemplated as a transgressive process, as it supports narratives that break with the traditional literary focus, bringing female characters in complex experiences into the center of narrative, in works that connect sexuality with the individuality of characters who enter the process of self-knowledge of the body and existence |
