Resumo: The present research aims to demonstrate how state actions have contributed to the production of the stigma imposed on Venezuelan migrants in Roraima. To achieve this, theoreticalperspectives for the study of migrations were investigated, followed by a description of migratory processes in the far north of Brazil and their stigmatizing processes. As a consequence, the impacts of human mobility on the Brazil/Venezuela border were demonstrated, and, in a second moment, the human elements and mediators of actor-network theory for Venezuelan migration were presented. Finally, the stigmas of Venezuelan migration in Roraima were presented. As a result, the study describes that the imposition of these stigmas on Venezuelans was often funded by local elites, who fought to maintain the acquired status quo. In this situation, the benefits generated by the exchange of experiences between people of different nationalities are daily undermined, undervalued, obstructed, and denied by a retrograde group interested in sustaining a situation of economic and political dominance in the state of Roraima.
