Resumo: The Brazilian history has shown that since the time of discovery, the land concentration and ownership in Brazil have been very uneven, causing social differentiation, cultural and economic among regions and farmers. This heterogeneity is also observed when studying the process of industrialization of agriculture, when modern technologies are used in the production process, from the Green Revolution technology package. Thus, this research is focused on the structuring of private ownership of land in the town of Dois Vizinhos, located in southwestern of Paraná; analyze the agrarian structure of the municipality, between the years of 1960/1970 to 2011, and identify the socioeconomic consequences of the intensification of modernization of agriculture from 1970. The construction of this theme was guided by the historical context of land tenure conflicts in the Southwest region of Paraná and the municipality of Dois Vizinhos, from information obtained from the INCRA from the Register of the Colony Missions - Center of Francisco Beltrão and municipally of Dois Vizinhos, between the decades of 1960/1970 to 2011; development of capitalist relations of production in rural areas; Census agricultural decades between 1970 to 2006, and fifty interviews with farmers who live in rural Dois Vizinhos. The study of these elements revealed that the agrarian structure of Dois Vizinhos remains based on small farms and the industrialization of agriculture has contributed to the subordination of small holdings to capital.
