O uso dos recursos tecnológicos na prática pedagógica da EJA - Educação de Jovens e Adultos: o uso do aplicativo WhatsApp como estratégia pedagógica no ensino de língua portuguesa

Resumo: | This research analyses the technological resources as a pedagogic strategy on middle school classes of youth and adults education – EJA, from CEEBJA Prof. Orides Balotin Guerra, in Foz do Iguaçu (PR), focusing on the use of WhatsApp in class. Starting by questioning: “How can the use of technological resources redefine the pedagogical practice on youth and adults education?”, this study tends to gather data by an online questionnaire about the use of cellphones in pedagogical actions evolving teachers and students, and to present other technological elements used as learning strategies at Plataforma Dia a Dia Educação – an educational platform from the State of Paraná, resulting in activities of production and edition of texts mediated by the app Whatsapp. Furthermore, this research also aims to create opportunities for an interaction between Brazilian and foreign students, through this app, making possible to stablish dialogues and the strength of affective bonds. As a theoretical basis, the research is based on cultural studies and on authors that highlight the importance of EJA, the valorization of different identities and the insertion of new technologies in the educational environment, providing a teaching and learning development. So, according to Paulo Freire (1987), this study will discuss about the subject and the other; the identities that surround EJA will be analyzed in accordance with Bauman (2005) and Hall (2006); related to interdisciplinarity and the knowledges on frontier, the research is based on Moraes e Silva (2016). The questions focused on media will be investigated by the contributions of Thompson (2011) and Kellner (2001), as well as Frau-Meigs (2014), Kenski (2015), Lévy (1999), Pretto (2013) and Amaro Gomes (2017). For this purpose, it was carried a qualitative research and also inserted in an action-research, this study allows us to observe that cellphone is a frequently used object to EJA‟s students, which didn‟t present any kind of difficulties when asked to develop activities using WhatsApp as a tool. Beyond the results observed there is a writing skill growth by students that previously couldn‟t devolve texts, regardless its discursive genre. The production and edition of texts were possible by a voice device from the app, from the oral expression transformed into written text. This experience managed these new technologies brought to light unique learning methods, as in production and transmission of knowledge, as in media language‟s insertion due to pedagogical practices on EJA‟s classes. |
